The super lightweight Twin Triumph from Maclaren has the same clean dynamic design as the single Triumph, but has seating for two. The compact design makes it easy to fit through 30" doorways, so there shouldn't be anywhere you can't go! Each seat has 4 reclining positions and work independently from each other, so one child can be sitting up whilst the other lies down. Both seats have 5-point harnesses, removable bottle holders, individual hoods with sun visors and 99% UV protective viewing windows, suspension and shopping baskets. There's also a useful carry handle, making it easy to transport when folded. Please note: Maclaren have recently issued a voluntary recall to repair programme in the US. This does not apply to the UK or any other country outside the US. This is due to a number of incidents where children have trapped their finger in the hinge joint of the buggy while it’s being folded or unfolded. We would like to assure you that all Maclaren products sold through John Lewis comply with the current British Safety Standards, and there is no risk of finger entrapment as long as the folding instructions are followed correctly.

Even when the Alison changing bag from Storksak is crammed full of bottles, nappies and everything else baby needs, it still looks good. It features chunky brushed silver and gold hardwear, faux leather trim and an adjustable shoulder strap. It has 3 external pockets, plenty of internal storage space and a mobile phone pocket. The separate zipped base holds the changing mat (included). You'll also find a thermo-insulated bottle holder which will keep fluids warm or cool for up to 4 hours. Product Features: Adjustable for parent The padded shoulder straps can be altered using the Slide Adjust System to ensure a snug fit. The height of the harness can be lowered or raised with the use of webbing tabs inside the carrier. There are adjustable straps on the hip which can be tightened to the required size. A strap across the chest can also be adjusted (this stops the shoulder straps sliding off the wearers shoulders). An ergonomically designed strap at the waist gives added support to the back and hips. The new Body-tech System ensures that the wearers back remains comfortably dry with this new breathable body support system. Adjustable for child In the childs seat, the seat level can be adjusted as well as the straps at the side and the padded shoulder harness. The buckle can be adjusted for a firm fit. The Phil and Teds Escape carrier also has a bendable head support, which attaches to the carrier using velcro. This is an unusual and very comfortable feature. The sides of the headrest bend inwards to support your childs head allowing them to have a nap in comfort. (In many baby carriers, the childs head is not supported when they fall asleep.) Stirrups The Phil and Teds Escape also features child stirrups these are small shoe holders secured onto the carrier. The child puts their feet into the stirrups and this provides support for their legs. (Leaving their legs dangling is not good for their circulation.) Hood There is a small hood for the carrier, which is attached using two small rods which are placed into holes on the top of the carrier frame. A visor is supplied to keep the worst of the weather of your childs face. This hood can be removed and stored in one of the carriers zipped pockets behind the childs seat. Nappy Pouch There is a zipped nappy pouch containing a change mat that comes complete with pockets for new and used nappies. There is also a key pocket and a small mirror, for checking what baby is up to, as well as webbed pockets on the outer sides of the frame for drink bottles. Flick Stand The Escape will sit up on its own, using a fold out, stylish flick stand. The frame moves out easily without the need for any undue pressure. Zip Off Daybag A clever feature is the zip off back pack, a daybag with its own shoulder straps ideal for those change essentials, a small picnic or a little shopping. Storage There is even a great zipped storage area behind the childs seat which I would probably store my waterproof at the lower edge of the carrier and is a quite good sized storage pouch ideal for items such as dry clothes or shoes and maybe sandwiches and other outdoor essentials! Care instructions The fabric on the Phil and Teds Escape is water resistant. Any dry dirt can be removed with a soft brush. Do not wash with soap, solvents, bleach or detergents which may harm the fabric. Store out of direct sunlight, as the suns rays may cause the bright fabric to fade over time.
